Tea bowl 'Okker '
Hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel using local red clay and Nexø sandstone. The grog gives it a slightly rough, natural feel, like weathered earth. Its shape is open and a bit off-center, fitting naturally in your hand. Glazed with local ash and ochre-rich clay that blends with the reddish clay body for earthy tones. Some clay and sandstone show through the glaze, revealing throwing marks. A bit of green ash settled inside. Slightly weighted base for stability. Woodfired.
