Tea bowl 'Horizont'
Thrown on a potter’s wheel and carved at the leather-hard stage to create angular facets that catch light . The rim is uneven for a lively, natural look. Glazed with a classic combo of tenmoku (dark, glossy brown) and nuka (soft, milky white) that flow together like ground and sky. Fired in a gas kiln, the glazes matured cleanly with subtle variations. Semi-open shape feels good in the hand.
Diameter: 12.8 cm
Height: 8 cm
Weight: 332 g
All of our tea bowls are handmade, so each piece has its own unevenness, imperfections, and unique character. Colors may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. We’ve tried to show the glazes, textures, and feel of each bowl as best we could, but if you’re unsure about something or need more details, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
